About Strikelens

Built for options traders from first trade to complex. Last updated September 2026.

What this is

Strikelens records the trades you already made (by hand, from a broker CSV, or through a read-only SnapTrade connection), then links rolls into one chain, groups every put-to-shares-to-call cycle on a Wheels page, and computes realized and unrealized P&L on the server. It is not a brokerage, not a trade-ticket platform, and not a signal service. It cannot place orders or move funds.

The product exists because a rolled cash-secured put looks like unrelated fills in a broker activity feed. Spreadsheets work until they don't: cost basis drifts, assignment gets detached from the call that replaced it, and the journal lives in a different file. Strikelens keeps the chain, the numbers, and the notes in one place.

Who it's for

Premium sellers who run covered calls, cash-secured puts, and the wheel, and traders who have moved on to verticals, calendars, iron condors, and ratio spreads. Expectancy and plan compliance matter more here than a running P&L total. A few exotic combinations still book as Custom; that limit is documented on the homepage FAQ rather than papered over.

How the numbers are calculated

Realized and unrealized P&L, adjusted cost basis across a roll chain, and portfolio Greeks are computed server-side from the trades stored for your account. A wheel cycle is the same chain viewed as one run: premium collected, stage (selling puts, holding shares, covered call, or closed), and a waterfall of how each leg added up. Multiple opens of the same contract are tracked as separate lots and closed FIFO, oldest first. When an assignment skips older lots that were already bought to close, the trade view shows which remaining lot settled. Dashboard edge metrics (win rate, profit factor, expectancy, Sharpe, drawdown) use that same trade history. Figures are for record-keeping and review. They can disagree with your broker; when they do, treat the broker as the source of truth for money that actually moved.

Data and broker access

  • Authentication and Postgres storage run on Supabase. Traffic is encrypted in transit.
  • SnapTrade connections are read-only: positions and history, never order entry or transfers.
  • Trade data belongs to you. Deleting an account removes the associated records. File export is on the roadmap and not shipped today.

Not investment advice

Nothing on this site or in the app is investment, tax, or legal advice. You are responsible for your own trading decisions. Strikelens is built as an independent software project for options sellers who want cleaner books than a spreadsheet.
